Valkyrie Racing
A woman driver who is a mother of four. Racing an original 1956 Porsche 356A. For over 356 miles. On all seven continents (yes, including Antarctica!). To raise awareness and drive donations to end human trafficking.
Taken individually, for a rally racer to do any one of these things would be remarkable. For Renée Brinkerhoff, driver and founder of Valkyrie Racing, it’s just who she is.
Renée and her daughter, Valkyrie Racing’s head of operations and photographer Christina Brinkerhoff, came to AMR in early 2021 to help establish their social media presence and build hype ahead of their race in Antarctica.
In less than a year, AMR grew their Instagram followers from 9,000 to over 20,000. Their audience across platforms has grown by 143%, and their engagement by 126%.
In the lead-up to Antarctica, we worked with Valkyrie Racing to recap Renée’s five previous rally races, promote their 501c3 Valkyrie Gives, unveil the redesign of the car that has been outfitted for the ice, and give their followers insight into this incredible team. While they were all in Antarctica, we stayed in communication daily — posting photo and video updates across platforms. Their followers have never been more engaged or enthusiastic.
Now that their seven-continent tour is complete, Valkyrie Racing continues to promote its mission to end child trafficking, drive fans to donate, and celebrate the ingenuity of the Polar Porsche.
