For City Pop, it all started with one big dream and the perfect combination of cheese and spice. They started popping into the Denver scene in 2013, and quickly grew into a Denver staple by focusing on the quality, freshness, and service. Their mission is simple: make delicious popcorn and make people smile. City Pop’s hand-crafted popcorn is made in small batches to ensure peak freshness with supreme quality and flavor.

Not only does City Pop offer delicious, gourmet popcorn, but they have over 70 unique flavors to choose from, and offer their products in the form of bags and custom tins. If that’s not enough, they also have a corporate gifting program, wholesale offerings, and a fundraising program.

While City Pop became a cornerstone of the Denver snack scene and still has a huge connection with the local community, they have grown on a national scale. City Pop has shifted its focus from brick-and-mortar stores to shipping all across North America due to their incredible demand. City Pop still has local ties too, as they provide popcorn to many of the theme parks, stadiums, and stadiums around the Denver metro area including Elitch Gardens, Red Rocks, Empower Field, The Denver Zoo, The Colorado Convention Center, and Denver Center for The Performing Arts.

City Pop has been growing exponentially over the past few years, but their social media feed didn’t always reflect that. Prior to working with AMR, their social presence was inconsistent and didn’t reflect their full catalog of flavors, seasonal offerings, and partnerships. Since teaming up with AMR, City Pop has established a more consistent voice, branding, and sense of community, and with the introduction of our Reels package, have also introduced a lot of tasty video content.

Within the first year of working with AMR, City Pop’s Instagram following has more than doubled in size. Going from just over 2k followers to nearly 6k. Additionally, their cross network audience (combined across all platforms) has increased by 721%. Since starting our partnership, engagement and website clicks are also up over 400%.

City Pop also enlisted the AMR team to manage all of their digital paid media. This included a $20,000 / month spend on Facebook and Instagram and a $5k monthly spend on SEM and Display ads. AMR achieved a 3.11X ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) using a combination of Awareness, Conversion and Retargeting tactics.

In terms of effects on the business's bottom line, City Pop has reported a 25% increase in online sales compared to the previous period (before working with AMR) and a 22% increase in repeat customers.
