Barry’s Miami

 

Coined “The Best Workout in the World™,” Barry’s is a celebrity-favorite fitness chain that offers high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts. In July 2024, the Barry’s Miami locations enlisted AMR to manage their paid media. After working with the same agency for years, they felt disenchanted and uninspired by their ad creative and performance.

AMR took corporate Barry’s brand guidelines and developed a new ad strategy for the Miami locations, focusing on new customer acquisition. We used Google, Meta, and TikTok as our primary tactics. Taking advantage of Barry’s already star-studded member base, we enlisted several influencers and celebrities who already knew and loved the brand to create authentic UGC-style ad content for us. We then tested this content style against the professional videography brand anthems that Barry’s had been running previously.

The results were staggering. Within one month of making this shift, we generated over $60,000 in new revenue, achieving a ROAS of 9.44x. Meta yielded the highest results right off the bat, with an 18.44x ROAS.

We also had the opportunity to tap into Barry’s noteworthy wellness partners, including Ouai Haircare, Promix Nutrition, and more, as we created campaigns to amplify their quarterly promotional schedule. In the past year, our paid media results have continued to improve month after month. Barry’s is now widely regarded as Miami’s number-one fitness studio.
