CSU Global
Colorado State University Global understood the value of online higher education long before it was cool. Founded in 2007, they are the first statutorily-defined, non-profit, online state university in the U.S.
A decade and a half later, they have amassed over 10,000 graduates and more than 18,000 students who are currently enrolled in their dozens of certificate, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs.
Their social media presence, however, did not quite reflect the breadth of their programming, student resources, online campus feel, or the school’s tight-knit relationship with their students and graduates.
Since teaming up with AMR, CSU Global’s voice, branding, and sense of community have been brought to the forefront in their social media.
In the first three months after they partnered with AMR, CSU Global’s Instagram impressions rose over 1,000 percent compared to their three previous months, and their Instagram engagements grew by 215 percent. We know these numbers seem like they’re too good to be true — but trust us, they are real!
In that same timeframe their most robust platform, LinkedIn, grew in overall impressions by 5 percent, while their engagement grew by 71%, and comments increased by 100%!
This growth pattern is reflected in each of CSU Global’s social media platforms, which also include Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Across these networks, their net audience grew by over 400 percent and their impressions grew 184 percent to 44.5 million in their first three months with AMR.

“As a VP in charge of Marketing at my organization, I was charged with improving our social media engagement among tens of thousands of followers who were simply not engaging with our content. I was referred to AMR by a team member who was impressed by their work.
Since we signed with AMR about two years ago, they have exceeded all of our highest expectations for social media to the tune of 80% to 300% improvements on all social media KPIs.
They know how to grow and audience and get them engaged, they are excellent at community management to ensure those who engage are acknowledged, and they stay abreast of current trends so we can align our strategy accordingly. They can pivot on a dime when we have an urgent update to our content calendar, and they are timely and responsive to all of our requests. I genuinely look forward to each opportunity to meet with them and celebrate our collective successes together.
I have cycled through quite a few vendors who oversee other aspects of our marketing over the past few years, but I am hanging onto AMR for as long as they will have us!”
